This Planetary Design Airscape food storage container is perfect for storing coffee beans. The patented Airscape lid creates an airtight seal that keeps out excess air, preventing oxidation and preserving the flavor and freshness of the contents inside. This airtight seal is created by an inner plunger lid that fits snugly against the inside of the container. As this lid is pressed down, the oxygen within the container is released through a two-way valve. Once the lid is directly over the contents, the handle should be flipped down to prevent further oxygen exchange, dramatically increasing the shelf life of your stored goods. Additionally, the top lid and inner lid are both BPA-free for added food storage safety.
This container is made from durable 18/8 food grade brushed stainless steel that holds up under daily wear and tear. For added convenience, the rubber base prevents the container from sliding around when it is placed on a flat surface. This container is recommended for hand-washing only for prolonged service life.
