Description
Like Kenyan coffee, Tanzanian coffee has its origins on the French island of La Reunion from which Roman Catholic missionaries transported coffee plants in the late 19th century. The coffee has a similar taste as that of other central African washed arabica coffees.
Tanzanian coffees are lighter bodied and somewhat less acidic than those from Kenya or Zimbabwe. Tanzanian coffees are very fragrant with a rich flavor.
